How to set up a basic website

  1. Open Notepad (Programs>accessories>notepad)
  2. Copy the following: <html></html> <head></head> <body></body> <h1>Hello World!</h1> bob </body>
  3. Remember to indent everything
  4. Save file as index.html
  5. Remember to select All Files when saving file

    The above link for Bitballoon is a website where you can upload your website, it lasts for 24hrs. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you can drag and drop your file.
  7. Drag your file, which will be a browser icon to Bitballoon website, and you will be given a unique url, click on that and it will open your website in a new window.
